Forest Hero Hikes

Truthseekers transforms local parks and nature centers into living storyworlds where kids follow maps, solve challenges, meet mentors, and discover their courage — one step at a time.

What Is a Forest Hero Hike?

A Forest Hero Hike is a guided 60–90 minute outdoor adventure that brings the 12 stages of the Hero’s Journey to life for children ages 4–10.
Each hike follows a story-based map with stops for:

  • Clues
  • Sensory exploration
  • Courage challenges
  • Team activities
  • Forest Mentor encounters
  • Treasure of Truth ceremonies

Children learn emotional intelligence through nature, movement, imagination, and story.

What Happens on the Hike?

Your hike includes:

1. The Call to Adventure
Children receive their Truthseekers map and spark feather.

2. Crossing the Wobbly Bridge
A playful obstacle challenge that builds bravery.

3. The Forest Mentor

4. The Deep Woods Reflection

5. The Dragon Challenge
